What data we collect and why
In the cost calculator on this page we collect, if you choose to send it, your name, email, phone number, the location and the weeks you're interested in, and each child's school year (without their name). This is not a sign-up, just an expression of interest so we can contact you. We do not collect any health or allergy data in this form.
The actual sign-up is done through our own form on this page (no longer an external Google Form): we collect your name, the child's name, your email and phone number, the location, the school year and weeks chosen, the schedule, the lunch option, and — if you get the group discount — the names of the responsible adults from the other families (if you give us this information, make sure beforehand that you have their go-ahead to share it). If you authorise it, also consent to use photos/videos of your child in future promotions (always optional, never required to sign up). We do not collect any health or allergy data in this form. This data is stored in our own database (Supabase) and receives the same treatment as the rest of the personal data described on this page.
Legal basis
It depends on the purpose: (a) To manage your sign-up and provide the camp service (name, email, phone, location, school year, weeks, schedule, lunch, and other families' names if you get the group discount), the legal basis is performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): this data is necessary to provide the requested service, not data subject to optional "consent". (b) To take photos and videos during the camp and use them in future promotions, the legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) — always optional, it does not condition the sign-up, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us. (c) To leave us your details on the cost calculator or on the Christmas Camp interest pop-up (both expressions of interest, with no obligation), the legal basis is your consent by voluntarily submitting them.
Who we share data with
Data from the calculator form, the sign-up form, and the Christmas Camp interest pop-up is stored with Supabase, which acts as data processor (service hosting). When you submit any of these forms, it is also verified with hCaptcha (an external anti-bot protection service) which receives basic technical information about your visit. We use Resend as a provider to send the confirmation emails for the calculator and sign-up forms — the sign-up one includes a copy of your answers (name, email, phone, school year, weeks, schedule...), never health or allergy notes — and, with the same data, an internal notification to the L'Amagatall team so we can handle your request; the Christmas Camp interest pop-up does not currently trigger any email, and its responses are only viewed by the team through the backoffice. Resend may in turn rely on its own subprocessors (hosting, technical infrastructure); the up-to-date list is public at resend.com/legal/subprocessors.
Cookies and advertising
This site does not use any non-essential cookies by default. If you explicitly accept them in the banner shown at the bottom of the page, we activate the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), which helps us measure advertising effectiveness. In the gallery, some content may be shown as direct Instagram (Meta) embeds instead of our own photos — these embeds also don't load until you accept the same banner; if you haven't given consent, you'll only see a link to Instagram. You can change your decision at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page.
PENDING — to be completed by a lawyer: a specific list of the cookies set by the Meta Pixel and the Instagram embeds (name, duration, first- or third-party) and the basis for the international data transfer they involve (Meta Platforms Ireland / Meta Platforms Inc., USA — Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep it
Draft: up to 24 months from collection, applied uniformly to all records by age, at which point they are deleted or anonymised. Pending confirmation.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your data by contacting us on WhatsApp or through the other contact channels on this page.
Data about minors
Any data relating to children (such as school year) is always collected at the request of a parent or legal guardian, never directly from the minor.
